Malin Pretoria Anderson is TWO (July 8,2012)
I have to admit I'm getting a little teary eyed looking back at these pictures. I cant believe my little baby is two. She is just the sweetest little girl ever. If you didn't know Malin, and just met her for the first time, you might have a different opinion.
She is a crazy, never stopping, loud, aggressive, crazy, dare devil, crazy, two year old haha. BUT, if you really know Malin, you know that shes is very caring, hilarious, sweet, considerate, an amazing big sister, beautiful, fun little girl. She makes me smile everyday, and I cant imagine my life with out her. I am never board (which isn't always a good thing) with her around.
Things about Malin at Two years old.
23.5 lbs, 32.5 inches
Almost potty trained.
Sleeps in a big girl bed.
Still loves her naps.
Starting to talk alot, and says a few small sentences.
Has a mind of her own.
LOVES horses, is obssesed with them.
Loves outside.
Loves balls.
Thinks she knows how to swim, loves swimming.
Loves her soother and blankie.
Loves Seviya, and making her laugh.
Has absolutely no fear, except for bugs haha. Jumped off the diving board a week before she turned 2.
She is just the sweetest and I will love her forever. I am always blown away at how much you actually love your children. Even on the days where I want to throw her out a window, she'll come out of no where and give me a huge kiss and say something like, I happy mommy, La you, where r you, o der you r mommy la you, and I know she is a huge blessing in my life and cant help but forget about the computer desk she just ruined with permanent marker haha. I love you Malin, and don't want you to change the slightest. I love my extremely goofy, confident 2 year old.
For her birthday, we went to the park, invited cousins, and had some cake!!! My attempt at a cute cake! It was so hot in my house and was melting.
And once out side it REALLY started to melt haha.

Seviya Anne Anderson
I cant believe how bad I have been at blogging. I haven't recorded anything about Seviya. I'm going to try and remember as best as I can.
Month 0
Born at 0606 on March 18th 2012. 7lbs, 15oz. 20 1/2 inches. 50-75%
I never know how to document babies in months. So Heres a picture to start with, and when I say 1 month, know its 0-1 month, then 1 month - 2 month, etc... If that makes sense
One Months(April 18)
I seriously Love this little girl. We can all ready tell she is going to be much different then her sister Malin.
-She is all ready smiling, all the time, and its not just gas people.
-She has a hard time falling asleep, but once asleep even Malin screaming bloody murder in her ear wont wake her up.
-Doesn't have her nights and days right. Really liking Greys Anatomy at 2 in the morning haha.
-She sleeps with us in our bed so I can actually get some sleep. She will only sleep if some part of her skin is touching my skin. She also takes FOREVER to nurse.
-Is a great eater.
-Only cries if seriously something wrong.
-Loves getting her diaper changed, Loves her baths, Loves being naked. All very different then Malin.
-LOVES being held.
-Doesn't throw up.
Two Months (May 18)
-Weighs 9 lbs 12 oz. 25%
-Still sleeps with us, but she sleeps in her playpen for naps.
-Smiling machine.
-Is getting a little fussier, but still is such a great baby.
-Started throwing up. NOOO!
-Loves to be wrapped tight.
-Still Loves being held.
-Looks at toys, and tries to swat them.
-Horrible baby zits.
-Smiles at herself in the mirror above her swing.
-Honestly plays shy. Its crazy, didn't know 2month olds knew what the heck was going on.
Three Months(June18)
There were too many cute pictures for this month.
-10 lbs 21 1/2 in(May 18th) End of the month 10lb, 14 oz. 10-25%
-We moved, which means shes in her crib. Yay.
-Took her about 2 weeks to decide she likes her crib. Then one night it just clicked, hey this is where I sleep and its awesome. From that point on when she was sleepy, she wanted to be put down. Wouldn't even let me snuggle her a little bit. But it was nice that she would squack, I'd look at the clock, yup nap time, put her in her crib, give her her soother and walk out, and I'd have a sleeping baby in no time. No idea how I got so lucky.
-Wakes up 1-2 times a night.
-Still smiling!
-Rolled over
-Coo's
-Doesnt like to roll all the way. She usually stops and stays on her side.
All I can remember! GAH! cant believe I didn't write more down before now. Seviya don't hate me when you're older.
Four Months (July18)
-On July 12 so almost 5 months she weighs 11 lbs 13 oz, 23 1/2 inches.10-25%
-Trying to sit up by herself. She last a couple seconds then forgets shes sitting and falls over. -Waking up once a night.
-Smiling and laughing galore.
-Loves cuddling. She has to have something under her arm to sleep. Usually her pink fuzzy blanket. -Is rolling and wiggling all over the place. Starting to think shes going to be more like Malin then we first thought!! YIKES!!
-Is honestly the best baby. Hardly ever cries.
-Likes to roll on her side and stay there.
Five Months (August 18)
-Didn't get her weighed this month, but shes still a midget.
-SOO close to sitting by herself. Lasting much longer, but still don't have enough faith in her to leave her. (by 5 half months she was sitting good)
-Amazing baby.
-Loves Malin, Loves when Malin gives her attention. All Malin has to do is look at her and she starts smiling and lauhing her head off.
-Loves both her mommy and daddy.
-ALWAYS moving. Kicking her legs, and flapping her arms constantly.
-No more night feeds!! Just wake up about once to put the soother back in.
Six Months(September 18)
-13lbs 3oz 24 1/2 in.5%
-SLEEPS THROUGH THE NIGHT. Its amazing. I didn't even have to sleep train her. She's always just gone to sleep once I put her down. One night she woke up for me to put her soother back in, she cried for 10 min, then fell back to sleep. The next night, put her down, and woke up at 630. I feed her, she goes back to bed to 8-9. And she honestly I haven't had to get up once since then (Nov 14 is today).
-Sits all by herself. She sits and plays so good.
-Happiest baby alive. -Starting to be CRAZY!!!
-Says dadadada :( I'll say MaMa and she smiles and says DaDaDaDa. Josh loves it.
-Army crawls.
-Still loves to roll on her side and just stay there and survey the room.
-LOVES Malin, Loves playing with her, Loves pulling her hair! haha, Loves Loves Malin.
-Lets us cart her all over, and is just good.
-Started her on solids. She loves them.
Seven Months (October 18)
-Haven't got her weighed yet.
-Just loving life, wants to be a big girl.
-Become picker with whats she eats. LOVES cereal. Wont eat jared vegetables, they have to be those gourmet packages that cost a million dollars.
-Army crawls everywhere.
-Such a good baby.
-Still sleeps through the night.
-HATES her nose picked.
-NO TEETH. My babies take forever to get teeth.
-So close to crawling. She gets up on all 4s but wont crawl.
-LOVES her soother and blanket.
-Just loves smiling, and laughing and life.
Well I did an awful job at documenting her life. I'm going to add a whole bunch of pictures to up coming catch up blogs so you'll get to see how cute she really is!!! She really is just an amazing little girl. She is so good and so full of Joy. I love her so much and she plays such an important role in our little family.

Well, Ive finally got around to writing this down.
My due date was Mon March 12. My sister in-law told me about this magical drink that 6 out of 6 women went into labor after drinking, so I decided to give it a try. Around noon on my due date, I drank the DISGUSTING concoction, and waited. I had contraction for 9 hours, but they never progressed. I decided to give it another try the next day and same thing, 4 hours of contractions that never progressed and then stopped. Pretty depressing, seeing as how I was the first person she knew of that didn't go into labor after drinking it.
Out of desperation I drank it again on Saturday, 5 days after my due date. At 4:30 I started having contractions. They didn't really hurt much, I thought they could just be hix again. Around 6:30 they were starting to get painful. I was still a bit reluctant to hope I was in labor. But they continued to get more painful, so at 11ish we decided to go see if I was actually in labor. We got there, and THEY STOPPED! worst nightmare ever haha. I felt like an idiot. But they decided to check me anyways, and walla 5 CM!!! YAY! We couldn't believe it, since it took me forever to progress last time.
Since I was doing a VBac, I had to be hooked up to the stinken monitors the whole time, since the first sign of something going wrong is if the babies heart rate went down. So they hooked me up to everything, and the wait began. I was doing relatively good until about 3:00. Contractions were really starting to hurt and I caved. I got really scared I was going to end up having another c section, and I didn't want to go thorough all this pain just to get a c section, so I asked for an epidural... But didn't get one! GAH! In no time at all I felt like I had to push, but my water hadn't broke yet and the doctor was no where to be found. So, for almost an hour I felt like pushing but wasn't able to. Lets just say I wasn't in my right mind haha. Cant remember everything, but there was a lot of screaming and telling the nurse to go get the doctor haha. FINALLY the doctor came and broke my water.
I got to start pushing!! YAY! After a short while, the doctor said it would be a while and left. That's when I started to really freak out. If the doctor wasn't even going to stick around that made me think this baby was not coming. So I kept yelling at my nurse that I was done and wanted a c section. I was convinced I was going to end up with a c section again. Luckily, my nurse was AMAZING. She was very patient, and helped me so much. She even found a portable monitor that allowed me to get in the shower, which she later got in trouble for haha. An hour and half later she still wasn't here!!! My doctor wasn't an OBG so they brought the one on call in, and she decided the baby needed to be delivered because her heart rate was going down. This meant forceps. WOW! Its a good thing I also wanted that baby out, because I don't think any normal person would willingly let those things even remotely close to them other wise.
With in 2 min I went to having just my nurse in the room to having 12 people. Josh said that the doctor and another doctor both had their hands on the forceps, he was sure they were going to do some major damage haha. Finally at 6:06 Seviya Anne Anderson was born. 7lbs, 15 oz, 20 inches long. She cried for 20 seconds and then was more then content to sit under the lamps.
Funny moments. I screamed MUCH more then I thought I would. Kinda funny, because as I was screaming in my mind I was saying, I'm one of those women who scare the crap out of all those other women who have just started labor. BUT, I did not once swear, which I was impressed with haha.
We had to wait quite a while for the OBG to come. Her name was DR. Whon (sp?) They kept saying SHE"S with another patient, SHE"LL be here soon. So after I've asked a million times when she was coming, a black guy doctor walked in. I looked at him and asked "are you doctor Whon?" Every one just kinda looked at me, and he said No. And I replied with "well when is she going to get here!!" Josh laughed at me so hard after everything was over. Not only did they keep saying SHE, buy most black people don't have Asian last names haha.
After Seviya was born, and they were starting to stitch me up, my doctor looks up at Josh and in her cute accent said " o dear you don't look good. Someone get him some juice and a cold rag" Haha Josh was taken a little back by the forceps as well. But he did really good with me. He was VERY patient, even though he said he wanted to smack me and tell me to stop asking the same thing over and over again haha.
I did it! I was able to do a natural birth. After she was born the doctor said it was a good thing she wasn't any bigger. So that still worries me about next time, and my fear of having to get another c section. The experience was CRAZY, but I am so relieved and happy I was able to do it.
Seviya is SUCH a good baby. She hardly ever cries, sleeps good, eats good, and is so happy. She doesn't cry when she gets her diaper changed, or when shes in the tub. She smiles when her big sis gives her kisses, and is just such a good baby! I'm SO happy she is finally here, and I think we'll keep her haha.

Christmas and More
Well Christmas was a blast, and very long!! I loved visiting family, but 2 weeks of no schedule for Malin was just as hard on me, as it was on her.
We stayed at Joshuas family for a couple nights first. It was a lot of fun. We went to the live Nativity, which was an awesome experience. Olivia had the chicken pox so we didn't get to see the Edlunds. Malin of coarse loved being back on the farm. She played with Parley for a good 30 min the first morning we were there. Everytime I opened the door for her to come in she would run screaming no and slam it shut haha. For some reason, when ever Grandpa Ricky walks into the room Malin has to show off. Which meant running and throwing herself on the ground, no idea what goes on in that little girls head.
Next we spent a whole week at my parents. It started off really good, but by the end of the week Malin was exhausted and had had enough. She was cranky, and had no patience for anyone or anything. While there my dad took Malin and Bails sledding. It was soo cute. They loved it! Till they took a sharp turn and face planted in the snow, haha it was pretty funny. But they were a little bit scared after that.
We spent most of the time just hanging out and enjoying each others company. For some reason I only took 4 pictures! I know I'm so lame!!! this is one of the only ones I got with any of my family members.
Miss her! It was so fun to live 5 min away from her last year. It's so boring here now that Its just Malin and Me. I'm pretty sure Malin feels the same way.
Christmas eve we had lots of snacks and played games. And Santa came. For some reason Malin has turned into a huge ma mas girl lately. She use to go to anyone, and had no problem when I left. Complete opposite now. So she wasn't to sure about Santa haha. Maybe next year.

Christmas Morning was awesome. We woke up, got ready, went to church and had an awesome sacrament. The whole thing was music, and everyone did an amazing job. It was really nice to start the day off thinking of Christ instead of an after thought once all the presents were opened. At my parents house we open presents one at a time. This of coarse drove Joshua insane. He hates when people watch him open presents, so he snuck away and opened his haha. I got a watch that I LOVE! a spa package that I'm dying to use, and a Oilers jersey that yes I did actually want!!! from Josh. He spoiled me this year. Josh Got an Oilers jersey, another jersey I forgot, and I guess you can consider the Ipad he needed to get for school as a Christmas present as well. Malin got spoiled. She figured how to open the presents by the end but didnt quite figure out they were for her. It was also her nap time, so she took a nap half way through haha. She got Mega blocks and a huge Mr. Potato head with tuns of stuff in it from my parents. And a car to ride on and a doggie pillow and blanket from us. My Parents were very generous this year and got us a video camera that I really hope we use!!! we don't have hardly any videos of Malin.
Malin decided to lay down and have a quiet time while everyone else opened presents haha.
Cousins!!
Malin had a blast with all her cousins. She would light right up and squeal and give Bails a big hug every morning she saw him. By the end of the week like I said, she had no patience and was exhausted, so she turned into a bit of a stinker, and wouldn't play nice. But she would still give Bails and Tawni loves every once in a while.
On Dec 30, we went to the Water park with Emily and Andrew and Jay and Steph. It was sooo much fun. And of coarse we didn't take any photos while their!!! I'm so mad at myself. The kids were just exhausted after 7 hours at the pool!!
Malin and Penny are besties. They love each other and play so good together. Penny usually just does what ever Malin does, its so cute!!!
Well that was Our Christmas, we had so much fun, but were very happy to get back to our normal life,
We stayed at Joshuas family for a couple nights first. It was a lot of fun. We went to the live Nativity, which was an awesome experience. Olivia had the chicken pox so we didn't get to see the Edlunds. Malin of coarse loved being back on the farm. She played with Parley for a good 30 min the first morning we were there. Everytime I opened the door for her to come in she would run screaming no and slam it shut haha. For some reason, when ever Grandpa Ricky walks into the room Malin has to show off. Which meant running and throwing herself on the ground, no idea what goes on in that little girls head.
Next we spent a whole week at my parents. It started off really good, but by the end of the week Malin was exhausted and had had enough. She was cranky, and had no patience for anyone or anything. While there my dad took Malin and Bails sledding. It was soo cute. They loved it! Till they took a sharp turn and face planted in the snow, haha it was pretty funny. But they were a little bit scared after that.
We spent most of the time just hanging out and enjoying each others company. For some reason I only took 4 pictures! I know I'm so lame!!! this is one of the only ones I got with any of my family members.
Miss her! It was so fun to live 5 min away from her last year. It's so boring here now that Its just Malin and Me. I'm pretty sure Malin feels the same way.
Christmas eve we had lots of snacks and played games. And Santa came. For some reason Malin has turned into a huge ma mas girl lately. She use to go to anyone, and had no problem when I left. Complete opposite now. So she wasn't to sure about Santa haha. Maybe next year.

Christmas Morning was awesome. We woke up, got ready, went to church and had an awesome sacrament. The whole thing was music, and everyone did an amazing job. It was really nice to start the day off thinking of Christ instead of an after thought once all the presents were opened. At my parents house we open presents one at a time. This of coarse drove Joshua insane. He hates when people watch him open presents, so he snuck away and opened his haha. I got a watch that I LOVE! a spa package that I'm dying to use, and a Oilers jersey that yes I did actually want!!! from Josh. He spoiled me this year. Josh Got an Oilers jersey, another jersey I forgot, and I guess you can consider the Ipad he needed to get for school as a Christmas present as well. Malin got spoiled. She figured how to open the presents by the end but didnt quite figure out they were for her. It was also her nap time, so she took a nap half way through haha. She got Mega blocks and a huge Mr. Potato head with tuns of stuff in it from my parents. And a car to ride on and a doggie pillow and blanket from us. My Parents were very generous this year and got us a video camera that I really hope we use!!! we don't have hardly any videos of Malin.
Malin decided to lay down and have a quiet time while everyone else opened presents haha.
Cousins!!
Malin had a blast with all her cousins. She would light right up and squeal and give Bails a big hug every morning she saw him. By the end of the week like I said, she had no patience and was exhausted, so she turned into a bit of a stinker, and wouldn't play nice. But she would still give Bails and Tawni loves every once in a while.
