Catch Up

As most of you have noticed, I kinda took the Summer off from blogging. Every summer I get SO excited. A whole summer of relaxations, sitting in the sun, and doing what ever you feel like. NOT! Summer is no time for relaxation. I think there was maybe 3 Saturdays we didn't have to get up early, go somewhere for the day, or just have way to much to do. So with that being said, blogging was not at the top of my to do list, napping was though haha. So hopefully over the next month I can catch you up on 6 months of our life.
At the end of April, we decided we needed to move. We loved our little basement suit. But the fact was we took it out of desperation. We found out 3 weeks before Josh started class that he was accepted, and had 4 days to find a place. The basement suit was the last place we looked at. Yes it was the right size, loved the kitchen, (it had a dishwasher!!!!!!!) and was a place that didn't make me want to run from, and felt I could actually let Malin play on the floor with out fear of her getting some disease. BUT it was very far from NAIT, and above our budget. These we sacrificed because we needed a place ASAP and didn't have much choice. But since we weren't going to be receiving mat leave anymore, we just couldn't afford it, and living closer would be a plus for Josh, not having to take an hour plus bus ride. SO, we decided to move in to Josh's parents house for the summer to save money.
We actually moved into the cabin in the backyard. It was extremely tiny. We fit our bed some couches and a TV in there some how. There were 2 little hallways to get to where we needed to be. There was a loft upstairs where Malin and our clothes were. We had a tiny fridge and a microwave. And I LOVED it. I love Josh's family, and get along good with them. But going from living on your own, to with another family is not the easiest thing. So it was really nice, to have our own little space we could escape too. We were in the house most of the time, but I tried to keep Malin on a normal schedule, so she took her naps, and slept out in the cabin. We also slept in the cabin if that wasn't all ready implied.
It was SOO much fun being there for the summer, and spending time with family. We cant wait till we are back there in May.
Here's some pictures of Malin at our old basement suit, its neat to see how different she was when we were in Edmonton till now.

Malins FIRST pony's!! She's such a goof ball.

After Math of Ponys haha.
